BlogSphere ("we", "us") is a product of Metalinx Innovations. This policy explains what personal data we process when you use BlogSphere and your choices. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email address and a password hash (if you set a password).
- Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google we receive your Google account ID, email address, whether it is verified, name and profile picture. We use it only to create and secure your account and to show your name and photo in the admin.
- Content you create: posts, pages, media, products and settings for the websites you manage.
- Website analytics: when you visit this website we count page views with BlogSphere's own cookie-free analytics (page, referrer, campaign, approximate country, device type and browser). It sets no cookies, does not identify you personally and honours your browser's Do Not Track setting.
- Usage and security data: IP address, browser, sign-in history and audit logs, used to protect your account and detect abuse.
How we use it
To provide and secure the service, send account and security emails, and improve BlogSphere. We do not sell personal data and do not use Google user data for advertising.
Google user data
BlogSphere's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We request only basic profile and email scopes for sign-in, store the related tokens encrypted, and you can unlink Google from your account at any time.
Sharing
We share data only with infrastructure providers that run the service (hosting, email delivery), when the law requires it, or with your consent. Providers act on our instructions.
Retention and deletion
We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete content at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing us. Backups are removed on a rolling schedule.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit, secrets and tokens are encrypted at rest, and we support two-factor authentication and passkeys. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password.
Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your data and to object to processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember preferences such as the theme.
Changes
We will update this page when the policy changes and revise the date above.
